Bill Godfrey
Bill Godfrey received his B.A. in Art Education from Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA where he received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003. Godfrey’s work—including banners, kinetic sculptures, paintings, woodwork, and more—has been commissioned internationally by museums, universities, corporations, art festivals, and private collectors. Memorable commissions include The Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh, PA), Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong and Singapore), and Rocky Reef (Toronto). Briget Shields
After graduating with a B.A. from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Briget Shields with a degree in graphic design, Shields worked as an admissions representative at the Art Institute while taking courses in the Department of Fine Art and Sculpture at Carnegie Mellon University. With a portfolio that ranges from jewelry to graphic design and painting, Shields is also a successful art handler, watercolorist and exhibition designer for the Frick Fine Art Museum in Pittsburgh, Pa. In her spare time, when not painting, she co-founded the Western Pennsylvania chapter of Casting for Recovery, an organization that provides women with breast cancer and breast cancer survivors with emotional, physical, and social support by connecting them to nature and each other through the therapeutic sport of fly fishing.
Paul Schifino
Paul Schifino received his degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1979. His work has been published in design publications including Communication Arts (CA), Graphis, Print, How, and ReadyMade magazine. Schifino’s art has been included in shows at The Andy Warhol Museum (AMP), the Mattress Factory (Gestures #4 and #14), TRAF Gallery (By Design), TRAF Gallery (Best of Pittsburgh Show), and most recently The John Show. His work is also included in the permanent archive of the Mattress Factory.
Schifino has served as president of the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), and is a former Advisory Board member of the American Shorts Reading Series, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He currently serves on the Board of the Land Initiative.
